Saw some reviews regarding The sea of monsters, well, I can only say I'm not surprised that it is dreadful.. However, I am not going to bash on it, after all, I'm not going to watch it, so I kinda have no right to do so. But what I wanted to share with you, is my annoyance towards Rick Riordan (I know know, how dare I). The thing is, and don't get me wrong, I love Rick Riordan and, quite obviously, his work, but throughout all these years, when great books were adapted into movies, I have watched many interviews with authors of such books. Say, for example, JK Rowling, or George RR Martin (yes, that heartless brilliant bastard!!). Both of them talked how they dreaded selling the rights and allowing movie adaptations. Im absolutely sure that they were offered a lot of money by many companies, buy they sold the rights only to people that they trusted (their babies to, as many authors like to describe their books) to do a good job, and, not surprisingly, it is so, both HP movies and GoT series are brilliant. Riordan, on the other hand, sold the rights 5 years before the Lightning Thief was published, again, I can understand the reason, the book, because of that, had been selling better and everything, and of course I do not know his financial situation at that time, maybe it was necessary for him. But it just angers me that one of the best book series has the worst movie adaptations. Seriously, for me PJO movies are as bad as the Last Airbender movie (yes i hate them that much, at least the 1st one). 

Hey guys, have you seen the new trailer for the Percy Jackson and the sea of monsters movie? Don't know about you, but I feel a little bit uneasy about it. Dont get me wrong, it looks really cool, but after the 1st movie, which, in my opinion, was really bad, I'm not sure whether i wanna see this one, don't want to be disappointed again. I just really can't look past the fact that actors who are 20 years old play 12-13 years old characters argh, this is just annoying. And another thing that irritates me is Clarisse, i like the character in the book, she is really cool there, but in the trailer they made her look like another one of those pretty, skinny, sassy girls, come on, this is not how she was portrayed in the books :\ though I cant really say anything about it, as the movie is not out yet, but still...

So I just wanted to ask you guys, what is your opinion on the trailer and PJ movies in general, are you planning to see the new one or not?

I've FINALLY seen The Dark Knight Rises!! And, Oh My God, It is brilliant!! Seriously, I was really worried with the fact that it's the third film, which are usually the crappiest, but Christopher Nolan is sooo nailed it! I loved everithing about this movie!  
Bane was incredible, I mean yeah, Joker is still my favourite villain of all time in both comic and movies, but now Bane made it to the top of my fav villains for sure. Even the way he walks, urgh, gives me the creeps, ecpecially with his theme on the background!
Catwoman, oh my, couldn't take my eyes from her, though considering that I could't take my eyes from the movie itself...well anyway, she was gorgeous, we finally see the Catwoman,who is not just slutty chick, but who is manipulative, sexy, smart and she kicks ass!
Commissioner Gordon, once again, Gary Oldman did a stunning job with this character, the way that he deals with everything that happened in the Dark Knight, loved it. Really loved John Blake, this idealistic cop, great character.
Alfred, oh I wish there would be more Alfred, I mean, I understand why he wasn't in the movie that much, but I still...i missed him
And finally, Batman, I love how he is all rusty and stuff at the begining of the movie and then he, once again, has to become Batman! Christian Bale did a brilliant job! They all did!
Ok, I could go on and on about this movie, but I wanted to keep this post spoiler-free, so I should probably stop, but honestly everyone should watch  this movie, It is amazing!!

Just wanted to say, It is so brilliant that there are so many comic adaptations lately, The Amazing Spider-man, The Avengers, Dark Knight trilogy and upcoming The Man of Steel etc. Can a nerd, as myself, be any happier!
